Dr. Roberto Sanchez completed his Doctor of Psychology degree with a concentration in Clinical and Forensic Psychology in Miami, FL and is currently a licensed psychotherapist practicing in North Bay Village/Miami Beach, FL.

Dr. Sanchez received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, his Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, and later earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, an APA (American Psychological Association) accredited university in Miami.
Dr. Sanchez completed his pre-doctoral internship training at Citrus Health Network Hospital and CMHC, an APA accredited pre-doc internship site in Miami. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship training in California’s Department of Corrections.
Dr. Sanchez has over 18 years of training and experience working in South Florida, Texas, and California. He has trained and worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential settings, community mental health centers, outpatient settings, and private practice in South Florida and South Texas. He also worked for the Florida and California Department of Corrections.
Dr. Sanchez brings sensitivity, knowledge, experience and passion to his work. He has helped thousands achieve meaningful change in their lives.
Dr. Sanchez has extensive training and experience with substance abuse, addictions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and anger management. He also has vast knowledge and skills in the treatment of ADHD, and oppositional and defiant behaviors. Dr. Sanchez provides individual, couples, and family therapy in English and Spanish.
Dr. Sanchez is available to speak about various mental health issues at community groups, schools, parent/teacher/student association meetings, neighborhood meetings or workplaces.
